Bev started diving when she was 11 and has represented Canada for over 16 years in National and International competition. Bev's incredible accolades speak for themselves: 34 time national champion, 3-time Olympian (1968, 1972 and 1976), 4-time Olympic Judge (1992, 2000, 2004 and 2008), 4-time Commonwealth Games Team member hailing 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. She has been inducted into The Canadian Hall of Fame, The Ontario Hall of Fame and The Aquatic Hall of Fame, and was voted the Official of the Year for both Canada and British Columbia.
Bev also proudly runs the White Rock Divers in South Surrey. She lives in Crescent Beach with her husband Steve Jones, and two daughters, Lorin (age 20) and Suzie (age 17). She has a great garden and loves to entertain in her yard.
Bev was our wonderful keynote speaker for our Celebration of Movement Dinner at every WOMAN - Vancouver 2009, and this year will enjoy every WOMAN - Vancouver as a participant, as well as by sharing her fantastic diving expertise and Olympic story as a Workshop Leader. You'll have a BLAST if you choose to join Bev in her introductory diving workshop.
TRULY 'Every Woman', striving to be more than she already is, Bev knows her 'little line' rings true for so many of us, she says, "The early bird gets the exercise done!"
