Alice Bracegirdle is Founder and CEO of Bellyfit® - the fastest growing Fusion Fitness System for women in the world.

As with most successful ventures, Bellyfit was created out of a personal need that turned out to be the need of many. In early 2003,  Alice found herself at a personal low. After having traveled the world, run a successful vegan hemp seed food company on Vancouver Island (before hemp and vegan were buzzwords), explored electronic music, raving and the art of DJing, certified as an aerobics instructor and shimmied her heart out as a professional Belly Dancer, she found herself back in her hometown of Perth, Ontario - a single mother on welfare. Realizing that the health of her 2 year old daughter Shalom and of herself were suffering due to stress and depression, she knew she had to make a change. She recognized the need for a workout experience that balanced body, mind, spirit, heart AND empowered her to be a strong, balanced woman.

Further inspired by her vision of a future in which all girls were educated about healthy body image, and women in general were empowered in their natural bodies, Alice conceived of Bellyfit® - Strong Women Strong World - the fusion fitness experience for women that blends the power and wisdom of ancient cultures, with the research, technology and trends of the modern world.

Working with a team of highly specialized professionals, Alice has now trained hundreds of Bellyfit Instructors across Canada and has released the first Instructional DVD for home use - Bellyft Earth.

Alice is also the owner and Director of Operations for Base Lounge - Bellyfit Headquarters, a cutting edge multi-purpose wellness studio located in the heart of downtown Victoria. She is deeply inspired to bring the benefits of Bellyfit to all women who seek a healthy balance between motherhood, marriage, work and self.

Most recently Alice celebrated her marriage to Bellyfit CTO Rowan Sentesy on gorgeous Saltspring Island, and continues to give thanks every day.
